Eugene McDonogh Memorial Scholarship
Following Gene's death the St. Johnsbury Firefighters Association Local 2934 established a college scholarship fund to assist area high school students who are interested in pursuing post high school education in the fields of firefighting, law enforcement, and emergency medical services. The award is given annually at the memorial service for Gene. Applications must be postmarked by May 1st of the calendar year. Applications are not available on line, but a sample application is available for viewing only. Also included with the application is a general description of the scholarship, eligibility requirements and deadlines.
